ali hammoud: ali hammoud is a filmmaker/ Cineaste. Studied Communication Arts in University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA and worked for a number of projects in Chicago, Illinois. Since 2001 he’s been working as a freelance director/editor for several TV stations as well as documentary films in Lebanon. He served as writer/director’s assistant for a TV show on Cinema. In 2008, Ali took a great deal of work as an editor/projectionist for Cinemarena project. In 2007 served as a Filmmaker’s coordinator at the Middle East International Film festival (Abu Dhabi). He’s the artistic director for Beirut International Documentary Festival since 2004. He’s currently working on a series of documentary projects.
